Three towers built at the same time and on a tight schedule (2019) In Montreal's Griffintown district and near the Lachine Canal, this 313-unit building consists of 235 social housing units and 78 Accès Condo accredited family-oriented affordable units.
The 14,000 square foot building consists of three towers (7, 9 and 13 storeys respectively) with a basement level of common parking and a large interior courtyard.
There is also enough finished space to accommodate two EPCs.
Here, the three towers were erected simultaneously, which is quite rare. Because of the vocation of the site, this mix had to be taken into account in the work. Therefore, it was not a question of reproducing the same thing from one floor to the next. Despite the fact that the site required extensive decontamination,
Sidcan's specialists delivered the project on time using a fast track approach. This did not affect the final quality of the buildings, as more than 1,300 people indicated their intention to occupy. As a result, all the units were sold... in 22 seconds.
