Under the authority of the project director, the project manager will act in close collaboration and will be assigned tasks for current and future projects. Under the authority of the Chief Operating Officer, the incumbent will work closely with the management team, project managers and project coordinators.
In collaboration with the team assigned to the project, the project manager will be responsible for:
-Managing building construction projects;
-Assist in the negotiation of certain supplier/subcontractor contracts;
-Manage budgets and timelines;
-Ensure the quality and profitability of projects by using project management tools;
-Write project monitoring reports;
-Coordinate the trades on the site and ensure the quality of the work;
-Participate in the continuous improvement of management tools;
-Keep up to date with industry regulations (eg CSST, Building Codeetc.)
You are the person we are looking for if:
-Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture;
-Work on public projects;Very good negotiator;
-Great autonomy and priority management;
-Methodical and rigorous;
-Knowledge of Excel and MS Project software;
-Experience of 10 years or more in building construction in Québec.
